Balancing act

History

When he was but a baby, he was found in the desert near a small village and was taken in by an elven woman who had owned a small shop towards the eastern edges. He had spent the majority of his time with her, learning various skills, including reading, writing and speaking in english and elven.

Around his seventh birthday, his village had been destroyed by beings who were cloaked in darkness. A few had found him in the closet of his elven mother's shop, which had a protective spell cast upon it before her death. Before they were able to harm him, similar people cloaked in white had stopped them and had taken WS in. With them, he continued to learn many things and decided to be a scholar when he was old enough.

Some time after his tenth birthday, the black cloaked figures had attacked the orphanage in which WS had been sent to do chores. The same man who had found him years ago had captured him again. the man claimed that killing children directly would upset his gods, so instead threw WS into a portal, which had carried him all the way to Gatta...

Personality

Shy, easily embarrassed and slow to anger. Usually doesn't talk much to strangers, but when he does he tries his best to be direct as he can. Usually nervous to the point of clumsiness. Is friendly to most, even if they are not. To those he considers friends, he is loyal as can be and would do anything to keep them happy.

When angry, it seems like a complete personality change, often leading to WS attempting to fist fight. (He's weak, so it wouldn't hurt much if he punched anyone.)

Regardless of his mood, he will hardly ever use his ability, and goes to great lengths to keep it a secret from just about everybody.

Abilities

Minor healing magic: Can heal cuts, bruises and minor muscle pains and burns. Usually takes quite a bit of energy, especially if there's alot of wounds.

"Geokinesis": The ability to levitate, shape, throw and chemically change the characteristics of rocks, bones and other minerals. Because he is young, doing anything beyond levitation and shape alterations would be difficult, if not impossible for him. This ability will only be used when WS sees no other options available.

Other

He enjoys learning about many things, even though he might not yet understand all of them. This, and his curiosity, gets him into more trouble then anything else. He also tends to chase, chew and pull things apart when feeling playful.

WS has an almost irrational fears of large lizards and dragons, and a mild fear of smaller lizards. Pretty much anything he can't hold in his palm will cause him to run away as quickly as he can.

He is often mistaken for a girl. To be fair, he hardly tries to actively correct anyone anymore he's gotten so used to it.
